Albany Roosevelt is the only car of its kind in GTA V. Alba n y Roosevelt cannot boast of powerful characteristics. The FR V12 engine accelerates the car to just 104 km / h, which it reaches in 12.4 seconds. The car moves smoothly and smoothly, but its handling is no better than that of a rowboat. The Fränken Stange is a four-seat hot rod converted from Albany Roosevelt. It lacks a front bumper, the headlights are located below and offer a good view of the huge radiator grill; rear-view mirrors have been added, and the roof is located lower than the original. The back of it is completely cut off to make a kind of landau. It is impossible to lift the top over the second row of seats, so the passengers here are doomed to get wet in the rain.

However, the main focus will be on the huge eight-cylinder engine with an exhaust system without mufflers and other catalysts. At startup, it trembles, and the sound is excellent. Surely one of the best in the game, paired with a motor in the Stirling GT.

The interior of the Fränken Stange was borrowed from the Roosevelt unchanged, albeit painted purple. Unfortunately, you cannot choose a different color scheme. The wheels of the hot rod are noticeably enlarged compared to the original. Nevertheless, it is almost impossible to get under way without slipping, especially if you play the keyboard.

However, all the external changes had little effect on the characteristics of the car. The Fränken Stange is only slightly ahead of the Roosevelt on the test track, and the class leaders have nothing to worry about: the “monster” has only tenth place among the sports classics. However, such a car is not bought for serious races.

Interesting Facts

  • Fränken Stange strongly resembles Munster Koach- a car from the TV series “The Munsters” (The Munsters). Another machine from The Halloween Surprise, the Lurcher, references the show The Addams Family. Both sitcoms debuted in September 1964 on rival channels and were quite similar to each other.
  • Translated from German into English, stange means rod (“rod”), which emphasizes the style in which the car is created — hot rod. In addition, in German the word reads as “pants”, which makes the full name of the model consonant with the name of the scientist who created the famous monster.
  • The Fränken Stange has no reversing lights and no license plate.
